About the role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evolving our AWS-based cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to improve system reliability, deployment automation, observability, and operational excellence.

This role sits at the heart of our platform initiatives - where scalability, maintainability, and security intersect. You’ll take ownership of core infrastructure components, contribute to the developer experience through tooling improvements, and support the broader engineering organization with cloud expertise and automation strategies.

You bring a strong background in Platform Engineering, a mindset focused on continuous improvement, and the ability to drive change through collaboration and technical depth.

Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering, with a proven track record of building scalable infrastructure, implementing automation at scale, and collaborating across development teams to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.

What you will do

  • Own and evolve core AWS infrastructure components to support scalable and secure application environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines
  • Instrument systems for observability, enabling proactive monitoring, metrics collection, and troubleshooting.
  • Champion cloud security best practices and support disaster recovery, cost monitoring, and compliance standards.
  • Contribute to architectural reviews and incident response, supporting the platform’s availability, performance, and resilience.
  • Participate in cross-team technical discussions, sharing platform knowledge and advocating for scalable solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing through code reviews and pair programming, while learning from others across the team.

What we are looking for

  • Strong expertise with AWS and cloud-native architecture (EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, S3, ELB, CloudFront, API Gateway, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and management using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
  • Level of proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Node.js).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CDK.
  • Practical experience with containerized (ECS & EKS) environments.
  • Familiarity with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch, and New Relic.
  • Exposure to security tooling (e.g., IAM Identity Center, GuardDuty, Inspector) and platform governance practices.
  • Experience supporting microservice and monolithic architectures.
  • Awareness of cost optimization strategies, disaster recovery planning, and AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.

Perks and Benefits

  • An environment that empowers you to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
  • Be a part of a fast-growing, ambitious company where your work directly drives results.
  • Work with ambitious, driven, and like-minded professionals in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • A regionally competitive benefits package.
  • The chance to be a part of a dynamic and innovative company that is making a difference in the tour and activity sector.

We’d love for you to join us on this exciting journey. Together, let’s shape the future of the leisure and tourism industry!
